About the Position Our client is now seeking a traveling welder/assembler for their production and project operations. Here you will have the opportunity to combine practical workshop work with installation and assembly at customer sites – both in Sweden and internationally. The assignment starts as a temporary placement via Ikett Personalpartner with excellent opportunities for conversion to permanent employment with the client. About the Position: At our client, you will work with manufacturing, assembly, and preparation in production, and then participate in installation and final assembly at the customer's site. The work consists of a combination of welding, assembly, and practical problem-solving work where you become involved in the entire process – from finished product in the factory to completed installation on-site. The focus is on MIG welding but some TIG welding also occurs. The work includes assembling components, making adjustments during installation, and working according to instructions and drawings. Projects vary in scope and travel assignments can range from shorter assignments to longer periods depending on the client's needs. Most of your working time is spent in the factory, but travel is a natural part of the position and can occur both within Sweden and internationally. This role suits you if you appreciate variety, like to see the end result of your work, and thrive in environments where conditions can change from project to project. Your Profile: We are looking for someone with experience in welding and assembly within industry or workshop settings and who thrives in a practical role with great variety. You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and comfortable working both in production and at customer sites. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to different projects and conditions. You appreciate collaborating with others but also take responsibility when situations require independent decisions. We believe you have a technical interest and enjoy working close to the finished product. Requirements: • Experience with MIG welding • Experience with industrial assembly or workshop work • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Class B driving license and access to a car • Forklift and overhead crane certification • Ability to travel for work Meritorious: • Experience with TIG welding • Experience with installation or traveling assembly work • Experience with international work Working Hours: Day shift Start Date: Immediately or by agreement.
