About the Role As a Service Technician at Scanvaegt Systems, you will become an important part of the company's service organization and one of our primary representatives at customer sites. The role involves varied and independent work where you are responsible for installation, service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of technical solutions in industrial weighing, IT systems, labeling, marking, and quality control. You will work from home and primarily serve customers in Stockholm and Mälardalen. The work offers considerable autonomy and close contact with both customers and colleagues. Travel is part of the position, with approximately 30 overnight stays per year. You will join a dedicated team with high technical expertise where collaboration, customer focus, and quality are central. Examples of Responsibilities Install and commission Scanvaegt products and systems Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability Provide technical support and guidance to customers Build long-term customer relationships through professional service Identify customer needs and contribute to the development of the service business Document service activities and technical measures Collaborate with colleagues in service, support, and sales About You We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys combining problem-solving with customer interaction. Perhaps you currently work as a service technician, maintenance technician, IT technician, electrician, or in another technical role and want to continue developing in a varied position with significant responsibility. To succeed in this role, we would like to see that you: Have experience with service, troubleshooting, or maintenance of technical equipment Have good technical knowledge in electrical, electronics, mechanical, or IT systems Enjoy working closely with customers and building trusting relationships Are accustomed to working independently and taking personal responsibility Hold a valid B-class driver's license Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is an advantage if you have experience with: Industrial equipment or automation solutions Installation and maintenance of IT systems or servers Industrial weighing, labeling, or marking systems Technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent As a Person You are responsible, thorough, and solution-oriented with a genuine interest in technology. You work in a structured manner, are quality-conscious, and are motivated by solving technical challenges efficiently. At the same time, you are flexible and appreciate variety in your workdays.
