About the role
As a Service Technician at MULTIVAC, you'll be a key person in ensuring that our customers' equipment operates optimally. You'll get a varied and technically challenging role with great responsibility and freedom, where you work closely with our customers – primarily in southern Sweden, with a geographic focus around Halmstad. We therefore prefer that you are based in Halmstad and the surrounding area, which provides good conditions to efficiently plan and carry out your assignments. You'll work from home and can expect approximately 50 overnight stays per year.
You'll be part of our service team, which today consists of 15 experienced technicians spread across the country. You'll handle smaller assignments independently, while larger installations and service operations take place in teams. The size and complexity of assignments vary – no two weeks are the same.
Your work tasks include:
Service, installation, and troubleshooting
Technical support and advice at the customer site
Work both independently and in teams depending on the scope of the assignment
Travel within and outside your region, with some overnight stays
Close collaboration with our Service Manager and colleagues for knowledge sharing and support
Who are you?
To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you have a few years of experience in technical or mechanical work – preferably combined with electrical technical knowledge. Perhaps you currently work as a technician, mechanic, operations technician, industrial electrician, or in automation. If you also have experience with food machinery, packaging machinery, or similar technical equipment, that's a plus, but not a requirement.
You are a solution-oriented person who likes to take initiative, are self-driven, and comfortable planning your own work. You thrive with freedom within responsibility and have a structured work approach, even when the pace varies. With your curiosity and technical breadth, you easily understand complex systems – whether it's mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or software.
You have a B driver's license, are flexible regarding travel and working hours, and are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. What matters most to us is your attitude – that you are service-oriented, engaged, and want to develop together with us.
