Are you technically skilled, handy, and comfortable with independent work where you can solve technical problems at customer sites? Revatec is now looking for a mobile service technician who wants to join the company's team and work with service and maintenance of technical washing systems. About the Position As a mobile service technician at Revatec, you'll have a varied and independent role where you work at the company's facilities, primarily in and around the Stockholm area. Revatec builds and delivers advanced washing systems for, among others, heavy vehicles, buses, trains, and other large vehicles. The systems contain a lot of technology, electrical components, and automation, which means you'll work with many different types of technical solutions. You'll be based from your home and the position involves traveling between different customers and facilities in the Stockholm area and surrounding regions. It's therefore important that you enjoy being in the field and appreciate work where your workplace varies from day to day. Work hours are standard office hours, and travel to and from customer/facility is included in your working time. In the case of occasional longer trips, overnight stays may occur. You'll have great freedom with responsibility and plan most of your working days and service visits yourself. Revatec provides a vehicle, phone, and computer. Work Responsibilities As a service technician, you'll primarily work with service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Revatec's technical systems. Your responsibilities may include: - Perform service and preventive maintenance on existing washing systems - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components - Identify and address technical problems at customer sites - Work with electrical systems, controls, and automation - Repair and replace technical components - Perform adjustments and function checks - Assist with installation and commissioning as needed - Document completed work - Maintain contact with customers and provide technical service on-site - Plan and organize your own service visits - Travel between customers and facilities in the Stockholm area This position suits you if you enjoy the combination of technology, problem-solving, and hands-on work and appreciate that no two days need to be the same. About You We're looking for someone who is technically skilled, handy, and self-driven. You need to be able to take personal responsibility for your work tasks and feel comfortable independently troubleshooting and solving technical problems at customer sites. You don't need previous experience with vehicle washers specifically. What's most important is that you have a genuine technical interest, are solution-oriented, and enjoy understanding how machines and technical systems work. As a person, you are: - Handy and practically inclined - Technically interested and problem-solving oriented - Self-driven and responsible - Thorough and organized - Service-minded and professional in customer interactions - Flexible and enjoy varied work - Comfortable working independently in the field Since you largely plan and carry out your work yourself, it's required that you're driven, take responsibility, and can make independent decisions in your daily work. Requirements for the Position - Basic electrical safety certification - Category B driver's license - Technical understanding and practical ability - Good Swedish skills, both spoken and written - Ability to work independently - Willingness and ability to work at customer sites in the Stockholm area - Previous experience in service, troubleshooting, electrical work, automation, mechanics, industry, vehicles, or similar technical work is an advantage.
