As a Sanitation Worker at our recycling centers, you play an important role in the work Lumire does for all of Luleå. Together we make Luleå sustainable. About the role As an employee at our recycling centers, you are an important part of the work to increase recycling and create a sustainable society. You meet customers daily and help them sort their waste correctly, while contributing to creating a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility. The work involves rotating between four different recycling centers and working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. Examples of work tasks included: Guide and help customers with waste sorting. Provide good service and create a positive customer experience. Receive, sort, and handle hazardous waste according to applicable procedures. Maintain order and ensure a clean and well-maintained recycling center. Perform simple operations and maintenance tasks. Handle materials and waste using wheel loaders and forklifts as needed. Contribute to a safe work environment for customers and colleagues. We are looking for someone who You enjoy meeting people and providing good service. You are responsible, thorough, and have a strong safety mindset. You can work independently and take your own initiative. We see that you are flexible and enjoy working at different work sites. You want to contribute to a sustainable society and a cleaner environment. The work is varied and may involve physical work and heavy lifting. Requirements for the position are that you hold a B driving license. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have: Wheel loader certification for goods handling. Forklift certification. Experience in recycling, waste management, customer service, or similar operations.
