Parent Cooperative Sälen is a small and familial preschool in Västra Frölunda with 19 children and a dedicated team consisting of one preschool teacher, two Montessori pedagogues, one childcare assistant, and several regular substitute staff. With us, the path from idea to action is short, relationships are close, and your opportunity to influence is great. You'll lead the development of the operation while seeing the results of your work in the children's and team's daily life.
About the Position
The position is full-time and includes:
approximately 30% head teacher duties
approximately 70% work as a preschool teacher in the operation
As head teacher, you are responsible for pedagogical leadership, personnel management, systematic quality work, and workplace environment issues. You work closely with the board and are an important part of the preschool's continued development.
At the same time, you are an active part of the daily life in the children's group. We believe that close leadership is a strength and therefore seek someone who wants to combine responsible leadership with pedagogical work.

are a certified preschool teacher with good knowledge of preschool guidelines
are clear, communicative, and structured
are receptive, unpretentious, and relationship-building
want to develop the operation together with the team and board
For us, good leadership means creating clarity, security, and direction – but also listening in, building trust, and creating joy in daily work.
It is a merit if you have:
previous management or leadership experience
experience from Montessori or smaller independent operations
completed or begun the Principal's Program
For the right person, we are open to completing the Principal's Program alongside the position. During the education period, the position will be arranged so that studies can be completed during work time.
