Would you like to lead and develop two primary schools where quality, structure, and excellent conditions for learning are the focus? We are now seeking a principal for Ramkvilla and Korsberga schools. As principal, you have overall responsibility for two F–6 schools with approximately 205 students and around 30 staff members. Ramkvilla school has approximately 65 students and Korsberga school approximately 140 students. You lead and develop the educational activities and ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students. You manage and distribute work, oversee personnel, finances, budgets, and scheduling, and drive systematic quality improvement in line with the schools' goals and governing documents. In this role, you work closely with the operations and have a clear focus on school development. Together with the staff, you develop working methods and teaching to strengthen quality and goal achievement. You plan, follow up, and evaluate operations and have an active role in the schools' development work. As principal in Vetlanda Municipality, you are part of a collegial environment with other principals within primary education. Together, you work to develop all primary school activities in the municipality. You meet regularly, both in the management group and in practice-based collaboration formats. You also have access to support from the administration's central support functions, including student health services, finance, HR, legal services, and digitalization. Ramkvilla and Korsberga are two schools with different sizes and conditions. The assignment involves leading and developing both operations based on their respective needs, while creating structure, collaboration, and a common direction for the principal area. As principal, you may also have other assignments, both at the schools and at broader levels. You are proactive, organized, and persistent, with the ability to drive development work even in challenging contexts. You are flexible and see opportunities in change, collaborate well with others, and communicate clearly. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: a teaching degree or other equivalent education good knowledge of school governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work experience leading systematic quality improvement and development processes good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license and access to a car We place great importance on personal suitability.
