Are you the one we're looking for? Dibber is seeking a principal for Östra School Do you want to work in a key role to create conditions together for education for all? If you are a pedagogical leader who believes in the potential of every student, we are looking for you to continue leading and developing our operations at Östra School with students from grades 7 through 9. Inspiring and present leadership is necessary to motivate our employees to continue developing the school. Our employees have high expectations and reasonable demands on children's and students' ability to learn and develop. You share the same thoughts about developing each individual's skills that create the foundation and conditions for a good life. Participation and influence drive the school's work forward. As a principal within Dibber, you are part of a network with principals in Stockholm and Skåne. This gives you collegial exchange both professionally and socially. Duties Your mission is to lead and develop the school in a structured, operationally focused, and professional manner. You have overall responsibility for children, students, employees, finances, work environment, and quality. Through systematic quality work, you guide the operations to continue developing. Your duties include representing the school in external contexts and communicating with the municipality and authorities in matters concerning the operations. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in leading positions within primary education. We place great importance on the person who becomes the school's principal wanting to develop the school to become the obvious choice in Malmö. You are well familiar with current governing documents and other relevant legislation, have experience working with student well-being, and have experience managing financial responsibility. You have a good ability to organize and prioritize based on development areas. Your experience in communicating, leading, and ensuring participation is of great importance. We want you to have completed, or begun, principal training and have higher education with a pedagogical focus. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who has the ability to engage, stimulate, and strengthen employees and the ability to create good relationships. To succeed in the role, you are a driven pedagogical leader, have good knowledge of how to organize a school, and lead with a focus on students' academic development. As a leader, you are confident, present, communicative, and through your work methods, you create conditions for your employees to grow and develop so our students can achieve more. You inspire work joy and through close leadership you contribute to your own and others' development. When the pace is high, you have the ability to plan and prioritize your time for the benefit of the operations. You use and develop work methods that lead to continuous improvements. Information about the Position Start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period. The position is permanent with a scope of 100%. About Us Dibber was established in Sweden in 2017 and today operates preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and open preschools. Dibber's headquarters is in Sollentuna, with operations in large parts of Sweden. Dibber in Sweden is part of the Norwegian independent school group Dibber, started and owned by two committed educators, Randi and Hans Jacob Sundby.
