Your New Position
As principal, you lead Huskvarna Mountain Preschool Area with the best interests of the children in focus. Pedagogical leadership is at the core of your assignment – you drive teaching development, language promotion work and systematic quality assurance.
Together with the assistant principal, special education teacher and preschool teams, you develop teaching and operations. You are responsible for the overall picture: operations, staff, budget and goal achievement.
Our preschools work to:
Ensure every child has the opportunity to understand and be understood
Support staff in developing pedagogical relationships
Make the learning environment accessible to every child
Provide children with exposure to a language- and knowledge-developing approach
In your role you will receive support through:
Close collaboration with other preschool principals
Ongoing professional development and mentoring
Department support functions in HR, finance, legal affairs, digitalization and school development
Mentor and introduction when you start
You will also become an important part of our pathway collaboration between preschool and primary school, where we develop the school as a whole.

Huskvarna Mountain Preschool Area consists of 14 departments spread across three preschools: Eriksberg, Stensholm and Nordskogen. Here you will meet approximately 200 children and 40 engaged employees who work every day to inspire curiosity, build trust and create good conditions for tomorrow's global citizens. Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who is a certified teacher and have leadership experience, preferably also as a principal or assistant principal. You have a holistic view of children's learning and development and want to create good conditions for both children and staff.
As a leader, you are trustworthy, communicative and structured. You see possibilities, take initiative and create engagement in your team. With collaboration skills and creativity, you lead the operation toward results and development.
You demonstrate good leadership ability and preferably have experience managing and leading a larger group of staff within a larger area. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Good to Know
Interviews are scheduled to be held week 33, August 11-13, at City Hall in Huskvarna. For those who advance to the next stage of the selection process after the interview, tests and work samples will be conducted.
