Gudmuntorps School is a F-6 school (preschool through grade 6) with an associated after-school program located in the countryside in the southern part of the municipality. Gudmuntorps School has approximately 110 students.
As principal of Gudmuntorps School, you create favorable conditions for students' knowledge development and goal achievement. With hands-on leadership that puts students at the center, you drive and develop the school's operations together with staff and students. As principal, you are responsible for the school's operations, student welfare work, personnel and finances, and systematic quality work. You work in close collaboration with the student welfare team and school staff.
You are part of the primary school's principal group, which continuously receives professional development for sustainable and quality-assured leadership. You regularly meet with other school leaders who together work on school development from a 1-16 year perspective. As a manager, you also receive support from various support functions within the administration, including student welfare, HR, finance, digitalization, student administration, facilities, and school development.

JOB DUTIES
As a principal in Höör Municipality, you lead the educational work based on a school grounded in science. Your responsibilities include overseeing students' knowledge development and goal achievement, staff working environment, and the school's quality development with governing documents as the foundation. The position also includes the school's administrative work.
In close cooperation with other principals in the municipality, we work together to have the courage to challenge ourselves and each other with a focus on ensuring and developing the quality of instruction. We improve quality through regular follow-up, evaluation, and analysis as part of systematic quality work. An important part of our work is collaborative learning within the principal group.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a certified teacher and have previous experience working as a principal or vice principal. You have completed or are currently completing the national principal training program. You have experience leading development work successfully. You are results-oriented and driven to work toward goal achievement. Your adaptable leadership style is characterized by clarity, courage, willingness to collaborate, and a positive attitude. You are an excellent communicator and skilled at bringing a group along with you, but you also dare to challenge in order to create a clear vision and strategy for the entire operation. You have the ability to step back and see which aspects of the operation need to be developed to achieve overall goals. You have high expectations and believe in all students' potential to learn and develop. Your ability to lead and inspire your staff is of great importance for further developing the school. A driver's license is required.
