We are now developing our principal organization and expanding with a new principal area. Therefore, we are seeking a principal for the preschools in Undersåker. In this position, you will be responsible for three preschools in Undersåker: Fjällbacken, Villa Stamgärde, and Taffelbäcken. You will lead the operations together with a deputy principal and together be responsible for approximately 30 employees. Undersåker is located between Åre and Järpen, approximately 15 km east of Åre and 10 km west of Järpen, with proximity to both mountains and nature. The location has train connections via Norrtåg and SJ, which enables good commuting options. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As principal, you lead and drive the educational work forward with clear responsibility for developing the education, maintaining high quality, and ensuring it is conducted in accordance with school law and curriculum. You are a clear and present leader who creates structure and builds a well-functioning organization in your preschools. Through a systematic and purposeful approach, you ensure high quality and equity in operations. You build trusting relationships and lead with warmth, while having strong confidence in your employees' competence and ability to contribute to development. Your responsibilities include: • Leading and developing pedagogical work with focus on children's safety, development, and learning • Building a stable organization with clear working methods, structures, roles, and routines • Driving and following up on systematic quality work • Taking responsibility for personnel, work environment, finances, and results • Strengthening and developing employees' professional skills • Creating good conditions for collaboration and participation for both employees, children, and guardians • Working actively to ensure the preschool contributes to Åre Municipality's vision of a sustainable future for all You belong to the Department of Children and Education and are part of the preschool operation area's management team together with other principals, where you contribute to developing equitable preschools throughout the municipality. You also lead a local team with a deputy principal and administrative support, where you together create structure, clarity, and efficiency in operations. With your good analytical skills, you identify areas of development and opportunities that move the operations forward in a clear direction. You are a confident and clear communicator who builds trust, engagement, and good relationships with both employees and children and guardians.
