Fischerströmska gymnasium is one of Karlskrona's four municipal gymnasiums. Fischerströmska gymnasium includes the Introduction Programs and Carpe Diem. The school is centrally located in Karlskrona and shares facilities with Törnströmska gymnasium. Fischerströmska gymnasium is characterized by diversity and variation as a norm. The atmosphere at the school is high among both students and staff. The school is permeated by engaged staff who place students at the center. Teachers are divided into different subject areas, which means close collaboration among colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a rector in the Knowledge Administration, you drive and are responsible for the school's development, which includes among other things vision work, goal management, monitoring and evaluation of operations. An important part of the assignment will be to lead the systematic quality work as well as the development of the introduction programs.
The position includes full responsibility for personnel, operations and budget. As rector, you report to the school area manager and are part of the school area's management group. Your management colleagues are nearby in the adjacent gymnasiums.
As rector, you will together with your rector colleagues be involved in the work of organizing the municipal gymnasiums as well as the development of our programs and program organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a pedagogical university education and have completed rector training.
Through education and experience, you have acquired pedagogical insight, and we would like to see that you have special knowledge of regulations and systematic quality work that governs the school's operations. Experience from work within the school's gymnasium programs is a merit.
As a person, you are structured, goal-oriented and stable in your leadership. You have strong collaboration skills and actively work to create participation and influence in the organization. You are responsive, communicative and have the ability to build trusting relationships with both colleagues and students, as well as external contacts.
In the rector group, we work collegially and learn from each other, so it is of utmost importance that you have a humble approach and share your experiences and knowledge.
Work as a rector means that you shall implement and develop work in relation to our national governing documents but also work for the development of the school area. Loyalty and holistic thinking are therefore important qualities. You will have close collaboration with the deputy rector at the school, where you together work with pedagogical leadership and strategic quality and development work.
Form of employment: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-30 or by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.
