Falköping's primary schools are undergoing an organizational transformation following a revised school organization decision that creates conditions for development work. As a municipal principal, you will be part of an exciting change process! Who are we? In the southern part of Falköping, we have three school units F-6 that are coordinated as an overarching principal area led by a principal and an assistant principal. The principal area includes the school units Vartofta F-6, Kinnarp F-6, and Åsarp F-6. The principal area encompasses approximately 380 students and 65 staff members, with primary school and after-school programs at each unit. Over the past year, the school area has developed a sense of community that is evident in the fact that staff members see themselves not only as three separate schools but also in practice as one school area. What can we offer you? As principal, you lead three schools with their own conditions and identities while developing the shared operations of the principal area. You work close to the operations and create engagement through participation, clarity, and trust. Together with the assistant principal, you are responsible for the overall operations of the schools, including school development, personnel, finances, student health, work environment, and systematic quality work. You drive development processes, follow up on results, and lead operations toward established goals. You will become part of the municipality's principal group and receive support from the administration's various support functions. We are looking for an experienced educational leader with a clear commitment to the school's mission and documented ability to drive development. For this role, we want you to have: - higher education in pedagogy with principal training initiated or completed, or other relevant leadership training - experience leading development work and operational development As a person, you are goal and results-oriented, stable, persistent, and communicative. You build trusting relationships, have strong analytical skills, and can lead both daily operations and change with clarity and composure. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
