The Culture and Education Administration wants to offer the education, care and inspiration that our small and large citizens need through different stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the School Department and the Preschool, Culture and Leisure Department. The activities within the School Department include all school forms from preschool class to adult education and student health services. The Preschool Department includes all of the municipality's preschools and family day care providers, and Culture and Leisure consists of the library, the culture school and youth leisure activities. We are looking for an experienced principal responsible for the municipality's combined adapted school form – both adapted primary school and adapted upper secondary school, as well as LSS. With us you get the opportunity to both preserve and develop an important and well-functioning operation. Description of the Work The principal's assignment involves leading and developing the operation as a whole, with a focus on teaching quality and student development through close and clear leadership. You are responsible for authority functions such as admission and enrollment, assessments related to students' right to education and monitoring of resources. The assignment also includes management of operations at multiple units and coordination with other stakeholders. In the future, the assignment may be expanded to include additional areas of responsibility. As a principal in the School Department you are also part of the management team, where everyone together takes responsibility for creating quality in all school operations in the municipality. The work is characterized by collaboration, courage and a pronounced team spirit. As a principal in Munkedals municipality you are an important player in the entire administration's development work. Qualifications We are looking for you who has a pedagogical university education. is an experienced principal, preferably from an adapted school form. has good knowledge of the Education Act and relevant regulations of importance to the operation. is a clear pedagogical leader with a focus on teaching. is responsive, humble and builds trust. can lead a flexible operation in a complex organization.
