About the job Work as a records manager involves filing cases, training groups in records management, supporting operations in their digitalization efforts, and ensuring the quality of records management. Over time, the role will increasingly focus on ensuring that operations comply with legal requirements and providing training at a higher level. As we are a small work team, the job requires flexibility and the ability to adapt during the day when needed. As a records manager at the Swedish Transport Agency, you are the hub connecting everything together. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the agency's documents are handled in accordance with applicable legislation regarding registration and disclosure of public records. In our unit, we conduct work where our central records office collaborates across locations to achieve a high level of consistency and legal certainty. The central records office is located at our main offices in Norrköping, Örebro, and Borlänge. You will have a very central role within the agency and will gain insight into many exciting areas. Read more about what it's like to work at the Swedish Transport Agency You will – ensure that documents created or received via mail or email are registered and handled in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures – perform routine archival work – classify documents in accordance with the agency's classification structure – receive and handle requests from the public regarding disclosure of public records – train and guide case handlers and groups in records management and create training materials – respond to referrals relating to governance within your work area – work continuously with quality follow-up and participate in efforts to find new efficient work methods You must have – completed upper secondary education – good knowledge/experience of the laws and regulations governing disclosure of public records in public administration – very good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish – good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in English It is advantageous if you also have/are – certified records manager or other training in records management that the employer considers relevant – current experience as a records manager or have worked with tasks that the employer considers equivalent – experience training groups – current experience working in state administration We want you to – be flexible and easily adapt to changed circumstances, and see possibilities in changes – be independent and structured, able to take your own initiative and drive processes forward – have good collaboration skills and adapt to find solutions with a straightforward focus on the common goal – be a good communicator and speak clearly and engagedly to small and large groups. You listen and are receptive to others and adapt to the situation. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. More information The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping. Appointment as agreed. We normally use trial employment. The possibility to work remotely exists based on operational needs, up to 3 days. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted.
