Corporate Finance is responsible for the region's shared processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally by providing financial support to Regional Development, one of the region's two core operations. You will collaborate with colleagues within corporate finance, operational controllers, economists, and the finance director, and have many contact points across the region's operations. Here you will have a varied role with great opportunity to contribute to sustainable and efficient financial governance.
We are seeking a Regional Economist for Corporate Finance. This is a permanent full-time position, with start date to be agreed upon.
Duties
As a regional economist, you will work with the region's shared processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. You will, among other things:
Coordinate and develop financial processes together with process owners, economists, and controllers
Participate in work with budgets, forecasts, long-term forecasts, and financial schedules
Serve as subject matter specialist and provide user support within the budget, forecast, and analysis modules in the region's financial system
Develop reports, registration views, code structures, and other decision support tools
Contribute to the development of the region's reporting and BI solutions
Monitor investments and depreciation from a corporate perspective
Together with the responsible controller, provide qualified financial support to operations within Regional Development.
You will be an important link between the corporate finance function, the operations' economists and controllers, and other functions within planning, monitoring, and decision support.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Holds an academic degree in economics or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent
Has several years of relevant experience in qualified financial work
Has work experience with budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, or financial reporting
Has good system experience and experience working in larger financial systems
Has good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you:
Have experience working with BI tools
Have worked with financial governance in a larger or politically controlled organization
Have experience working with the development of financial processes, systems, or reporting solutions
Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
