The State Citizenship and Migration Office of the Republic of Latvia (Registration No. 90000054163) announces a competition for a vacant REFERENT position at the Valmiera Branch (permanent contract).
Requirements for candidates:
1) higher education;
2) understanding of services and e-services provided by the State Citizenship and Migration Office;
3) State language proficiency at advanced level;
4) desirable English language knowledge enabling communication in a foreign language in job duties (job duties include serving foreign clients);
5) good computer and office equipment skills;
6) desirable prior experience in public administration, working with legal documents, or customer service;
7) excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Main job duties:
1) receive and review documents in migration matters;
2) serve visitors (including foreigners) in the customer service area;
3) work with information systems;
4) draft administrative acts in migration matters;
5) update information in the Natural Persons Register;
6) respond to calls to the State Citizenship and Migration Office information phone line.
The State Citizenship and Migration Office offers:
