As part of this expansion, the finance department is growing from 5 to 9 employees, and On Via is also moving to new, centrally located premises in Kalmar. About the Position As an accounting economist, you will be an important part of On Via's strengthened finance department. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within accounting and take responsibility for parts of the entire accounting process. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with other members of the finance department. Your responsibilities as an accounting economist include: Ongoing accounting and reconciliations Management of accounts payable Management of accounts receivable Preparation of monthly financial statements Participation in annual financial statements and annual reports Tax and income declarations Accruals and other closing-related tasks Financial reporting and preparation of financial documents Establishment and development of procedures and processes Providing support on accounting and finance-related matters to managers and employees in the organization Other routine accounting tasks Participation in the development and improvement of accounting processes and systems The role is broad and offers you the opportunity to take responsibility based on your experience and skills, while also allowing you to develop further in accounting and finance. Work Location: Kalmar Qualifications We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting, and a few years of relevant work experience following your economics studies. You have built a foundation in accounting and want to continue developing in a broad and business-oriented role. We would like you to have: Experience with ongoing accounting and reconciliations Understanding of the entire accounting process Good experience with accounting systems Good Excel skills Interest in systems, digitalization, and development of accounting processes Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience with monthly and annual financial statements Experience with annual reports Experience with tax and income declarations Experience with Fortnox, as we work in that system As a person, you have a head for numbers and value good relationships and service, both internally and externally.
