About the Role In this position, you will work with accounting for multiple companies within the group and become an important part of an engaged team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are in focus. You will be based in Malmö and work closely with colleagues in both Malmö and Stockholm. Your Responsibilities As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for: Ongoing accounting and bookkeeping Account reconciliations and accruals Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Preparation of annual reports Tax returns Contact with external auditors Corporate formalities and other accounting administration Development and improvement of accounting processes and routines About the Team You will become part of our finance department, which consists of approximately 30 employees. The accounting group currently includes eight accounting specialists and one accounting manager. You will also work closely with colleagues in controlling, tax, and accounts payable and receivable. We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who is comfortable taking independent responsibility. You are analytical, thorough, and well-organized while also appreciating collaboration with others and contributing to your team's development. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have post-secondary education in accounting/finance Have several years of experience with qualified accounting work Can independently prepare financial statements and annual reports Have excellent knowledge of Excel and other Office applications Have experience with accounting software It is a merit if you have experience from the real estate industry or have previously worked in Vitec Ekonomi.
