About the Position We are seeking an accounting economist for a state agency in Stockholm. The role involves reviewing and registering payments in the form of requisitions and vendor payments, verifying authorization rights, posting to the general ledger, bank and payment reconciliations, and other tasks within the accounting department. The agency works with Unit 4 and Visma. The position also includes ongoing contact with both external and internal stakeholders, where you are responsible for providing professional service and delivering high-quality support. Assignment Duration and Scope: This accounting economist position is a full-time consulting assignment starting 2026-11-02 and is expected to run through 2027-03-31. Requirements for the Position: • Upper secondary school diploma or equivalent education in the relevant field. • At least one (1) year of professional experience as an accounting economist. • Strong proficiency in MS Office or equivalent. • Experience with relevant accounting systems (for example Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, and others). • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
