About the role As an accounting economist, you are responsible for ensuring correct and quality-assured accounting with a special focus on asset investments and the fixed asset register. You work continuously with accounting, account reconciliations, and reporting, as well as actively contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. The role offers a varied daily routine where you handle both recurring accounting matters and more analytical and investigative tasks. You have an advisory function toward the business and work closely with both colleagues and other internal stakeholders to ensure that accounting complies with applicable regulations and internal guidelines. Your main responsibilities Manage ongoing accounting and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts Handle accounting related to fixed assets and investments Structure and administer matters within the fixed asset register Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings Ensure that accounting complies with applicable regulations and internal guidelines Prepare reports, analyses, and documentation for audit and internal monitoring Support the business in financial and accounting-related matters Participate in investment follow-up and business planning work Contribute to development and efficiency improvements of accounting and closing processes Participate in forums and projects where you contribute your accounting expertise Who are you?
