The recruitment process is handled by Vindex while employment is offered by our client About the Role As an Accounting Specialist, you'll have a broad, hands-on role combining operational accounting work with the opportunity to contribute to developing a modern and efficient finance function. You'll be involved in developing work methods and processes, as well as in an upcoming system replacement, with a focus on digitalization and automation. This role suits you if you have a solid foundation in accounting and thrive in a smaller, entrepreneurial organization where you take significant responsibility and have the opportunity to make an impact. The finance function is in a transformation phase, giving you the opportunity to work broadly and contribute to how accounting work develops. Location: Stockholm Key Responsibilities Manage ongoing accounting and account reconciliations Work with monthly financial statements and reporting Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as payment flows Manage VAT reporting, including international VAT flows Partake in bringing parts of accounting in-house and establishing efficient internal processes Ensure quality and structure in accounting processes Participate in the upcoming system replacement and development of system support Identify and drive improvements in digitalization, automation, and work methods Maintain contact with external accounting partners and other relevant stakeholders Provide accounting-related support on other finance function matters Qualifications Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or equivalent Several years of experience with qualified accounting work Strong experience with ongoing accounting and financial statement preparation Good understanding of VAT, preferably with experience of international VAT flows Good system proficiency and interest in digitalization and automation Strong Swedish and English language skills, both verbal and written Experience from an international operation is a merit Experience with system implementation, process development, or automation is a merit Knowledge of K3 is a merit About You We're looking for someone who is self-driven, curious, and solution-oriented and who enjoys taking responsibility.
