Our client is a newly established company in banking and finance with a financially strong owner backing it. The company is growing rapidly and is currently building up its organization and financial processes for the future. About the Role
As an accounting economist, you'll have broad responsibility in a finance function under development. You work closely with the CFO and ensure that ongoing accounting and reporting functions smoothly, while contributing to building structure, processes, and automation in a new system environment. The role suits you if you enjoy both operational work and improving how things are done, and if you take initiative and drive things to completion.
Your main responsibilities include:
Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
Financial statements and reporting according to IFRS
Support in group accounting and consolidation
Contribute to new processes, routines, and automation
Work in a new system and ERP environment
Support building the finance function together with the CFO

Who Are You?
Your attitude matters a lot here. Our client is looking for someone with genuine drive, who takes personal responsibility and wants to build, not just maintain. You have a solid foundation in accounting and financial statements and are confident in IFRS, but equally important is that you listen, learn, and approach new tasks with energy. If you have the right attitude and a foundation to stand on, there's plenty of room to grow in the role.
We'd like to see that you have:
Several years of experience in qualified accounting and financial statements
Good experience with IFRS
Experience working independently and in a structured manner
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Meritorious:
Experience with group accounting and consolidation
Experience with system migrations and automation
Auditor background, preferably from Big Four
Interest in or experience with AI as support in financial work
Experience from banking and finance is meritious but not required. Drive and attitude are more important; industry knowledge can be built.
