About the Position
We at Perido are now seeking an accounting economist for Statens servicecenter, a government agency tasked with delivering administrative services and providing support to other government operations. You will work from the office located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg, with the possibility of remote work by agreement.
The agency needs reinforcement for a period of six months (with the possibility of extension) in connection with the annual closing period, when the workload is particularly high. In this role, you'll be an important additional resource in the work with the annual financial statement and help ensure that accounting is handled correctly and efficiently.

Qualifications (the requirements below must be met and clearly stated in your CV):
Higher education in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, secondary school or equivalent education in the relevant field and five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
Experience with government accounting
Good knowledge of accounting systems used (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
Good knowledge and experience in preparing annual financial statements, primarily from a government agency
Personal qualities to succeed in the role: being a consultant profile accustomed to serving and maintaining contact with various clients with the ability to create positive relationships with customer agencies and clients with the goal of creating satisfied customers.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Scope and Start Date
Full-time, consultant assignment for 4 months, with the possibility of extension. Start November.
