About the Position Perido is now seeking an accounting economist for the Swedish State Service Center, a government agency tasked with delivering administrative services and providing support to other government operations. You will be based at the office in Stockholm/Sundbyberg, with the possibility of remote work by agreement. The agency needs reinforcement for a six-month period (with the possibility of extension) in connection with the year-end closing period, when the workload is particularly high. In this role, you will be an important additional resource in the year-end closing work and help ensure that accounting is handled correctly and efficiently. Qualifications (the requirements below must be met and clearly appear in your CV): - University degree in accounting or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work. Alternatively, secondary school or equivalent education in the relevant area and five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist - Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent - Experience with government accounting - Good knowledge of common accounting systems (for example Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) - Good knowledge and experience in preparing year-end closing primarily from a government agency - Personal characteristics to succeed in the role: being a consultant profile who is accustomed to serving and having contact with different clients with the ability to create positive relationships with client agencies and commissioners with the goal of creating satisfied customers - Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Scope and Start Date Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6 months.
