To meet this development, we are now seeking an Accounting Economist for our headquarters in central Helsingborg.

About the Position
As an Accounting Economist, you will have a broad and independent role in our accounting function. Since we grow through acquisitions, you will be an important part of integrating new operations, harmonizing processes, and developing our digital working methods.
You will work closely with our Chief Accountant and Business Controller and have the opportunity to influence and develop the accounting function as the group continues to grow.
The position is located at our headquarters in central Helsingborg. The role may also involve travel to the group's operations to a limited extent.
Responsibilities
Ongoing Accounting: Responsibility for continuous bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, and invoicing.
Financial Statements and Reporting: Independently prepare monthly financial statements, annual accounts, annual reports, and corresponding tax returns.
Payroll Administration: Management of payroll for companies in the group.
Process Development: Drive digitalization and streamline our accounting processes as the group grows.
External Contacts: Responsibility for contact and collaboration with auditors and authorities, such as the Swedish Tax Agency.
Suitable Background and Qualifications
To succeed and thrive in the role, we would like you to be confident in your craft, experienced with digital accounting systems, and have a genuine interest in developing working methods and processes.
Education: Relevant post-secondary education in economics/accounting, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Good experience with ongoing accounting, independent financial statement preparation, and payroll management.
Regulations: Good knowledge of accounting according to current K3 regulations.
Systems (Merit): Experience with Fortnox, Capego, and Visma Lön is a great plus.
