About Us Mister York is one of Sweden's fastest-growing restaurant chains. We've grown from a food truck during the pandemic to 46 restaurants and approximately 1,000 employees over our 6 years of operation, and we have an ambitious expansion plan ahead of us. Behind this growth is a strong focus on structure, quality, and numbers that add up, and now we're looking for you to help build that foundation further. About the Role As an accounting associate with us, you'll be a key member of our finance team and work broadly with the company's day-to-day accounting administration. You will, among other things: Process supplier invoices from registration to payment Manage payments and payment flows Work with reporting back to operations Conduct monthly reconciliations and entries in preparation for reports Support with contract mapping and structuring of agreements Contribute to other administrative tasks within the finance function Beyond day-to-day work, we'd like you to be involved in developing and streamlining our routines and processes. We're growing rapidly, which means that approaches that worked yesterday won't always suffice tomorrow—we want you to help shape how we work going forward. Who We're Looking For We believe you: Have some form of accounting education and ideally one year of experience with similar tasks Are thorough and comfortable maintaining order even when the pace is high Work in a structured and efficient manner and enjoy recurring processes Are curious about questioning and improving existing routines Participate in VAT and tax filings and other regulatory reporting Are unpretentious and thrive in an environment where a lot is happening at once It's a plus if you have experience from the restaurant, retail, or multi-company environment, as well as if you've worked in Fortnox or similar accounting systems.
