Accounting Economist - Are You Our New Star! We are now seeking a driven accounting economist for an exciting assignment with one of our clients. You will become part of the finance department and work closely with the accounting manager as well as colleagues in both finance and other operations. The assignment offers an independent role with good development opportunities and support from experienced colleagues. Consulting assignment with good opportunity for transition to permanent employment with the client Job Responsibilities In your role as an accounting economist, you will work broadly with financial processes, including: Invoicing and payment registration Accounts payable and payments Ongoing bookkeeping Monthly financial statements VAT declarations Fixed asset accounting Annual financial statements Income tax declarations Preparation of annual reports Support and guidance to the organization on financial matters Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Academic education in economics or equivalent Several years of experience in accounting and financial statement work Good understanding of the entire financial flow You are flexible and have an unpretentious attitude where you are prepared to support where needed. The role requires that you are thorough, organized, and analytical, while also having good communication skills and thriving in a role with many contact points.
