Accounting Economist needed for a growing group! About the position As an Accounting Economist, you will have a key role in the group's finance function with responsibility for accounting, financial statements, and financial reporting. The role is broad and operational with significant independent responsibility and requires a strong understanding of the entire accounting cycle. The finance function is under development, which means you will both handle ongoing accounting and contribute to building structure, processes, and routines in a changing environment. You work closely with management and operations and provide important support on financial matters. In this role, you will be responsible for: Ongoing accounting and financial statement work Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Preparing annual reports Income and balance sheet statements and analysis Group accounting Work according to K3 Monitoring unit budgets at account level Monitoring and analysis of KPIs, including personnel percentage Contributing to the development of structure, internal controls, and reporting processes Collaboration with auditors and external parties Business support to operations We are looking for someone who: You are a senior and self-directed Accounting Economist with high integrity and a solution-oriented approach. You are unpretentious, flexible, and confident in your expertise, and thrive in an environment where everything is not predetermined from the start. You take responsibility easily, prioritize effectively, and create order in a fast-paced operation with many parallel changes. Requirements: Solid experience in accounting, financial statements, and auditing Experience with group accounting Good knowledge of K3 Experience from larger organizations Ability to build and develop financial reporting structures Experience with Fortnox or equivalent accounting systems Fluent Swedish Meritorious: Experience with IFRS Experience with Capego, Visma, or Pyramid Experience from restaurant, hospitality, or service industry Start date: By agreement.
