SJR in Sweden AB · smluvní (DPP/DPČ)
Humlegårdsgatan 20 Stockholms län, Stockholm, Švédsko
Are you an experienced accounting economist who wants to work on all aspects of accounting in a smaller finance team? We are now recruiting a confident and committed accounting economist for a consulting assignment who wants to take a central role in an organization where quality, structure, and proactivity are highly valued. You will work closely with the CFO and take on significant responsibility for ongoing accounting and the closing process. The assignment is ideal for you if you are available immediately and want to combine operational accounting work while contributing to development and improvement initiatives. About the Position In this role, you will have independent responsibility for key aspects of the finance function and become an important partner to the CFO in daily operations. The focus is on ensuring accurate and well-functioning accounting while contributing ideas and improvement suggestions to develop workflows and processes. The organization is in a phase where it wants to create greater efficiency through development and automation of existing processes. The role is therefore both operational and development-oriented. The assignment is performed 40% on-site at the office. Responsibilities You will be responsible for major parts of ongoing accounting and finance administration with a focus on quality, structure, and accuracy. The assignment includes ongoing bookkeeping, management of customer and supplier accounts, payments in and out, and reconciliation of customer, supplier, and balance sheet accounts. You will also be responsible for VAT and tax handling, independent execution of closing procedures, and preparation of reporting materials for the CFO. In addition to operational work, you are expected to actively contribute to the development of the finance function by identifying improvement opportunities, streamlining existing processes, and participating in initiatives related to automation of financial flows. Relevant Background We are looking for you who have several years of experience in accounting work and who are used to independently managing the accounting process from ongoing bookkeeping to closing. You have strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, VAT and tax handling, and experience with customer and supplier accounts and various types of payment flows. To thrive in the role, you need to feel confident in making your own decisions and driving work forward. Experience with the Jeeves business system is an asset, as is knowledge of Fortnox and experience with payroll administration. If you have also worked with development, streamlining, or automation of financial processes, we see that as a major plus. Relevant post-secondary education in accounting is desirable, but we especially value the practical experience and competence that allows you to quickly create value in the assignment. Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are a self-driven and responsible person who enjoys taking ownership of your work. You have a structured and careful working approach and are driven by delivering high quality even when the pace is fast. At the same time, you are unpretentious, helpful, and collaborative, with a genuine interest in supporting both the CFO and the organization as a whole. We are looking for a person who doesn't settle for maintaining existing workflows but also sees opportunities for improvement and is happy to come up with new ideas and initiatives. High engagement, a proactive approach, and a willingness to contribute to the organization's continued development are qualities that will be especially appreciated in this assignment. Application For more information about the position, you are welcome to contact Malin Lindqvist.
