About the position As Accounting Manager at Swiss Life, you are responsible for a number of real estate companies within a fund structure and manage accounting from start to finish. The role is broad and includes both ongoing work and more complex matters related to reporting and transactions. You have regular contact with clients, auditors, and other external parties, with much of the communication taking place in English. You are part of the finance team, which currently consists of five people, where you work closely together in an unpretentious environment with significant personal responsibility. You report to the CFO, who is also operationally involved in the business. The pace is sometimes high and conditions can change, which requires flexibility, independence, and strong prioritization skills. Responsibilities • Responsibility for accounting and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple real estate companies • Preparation of tax and income declarations and annual reports • Management of VAT, property tax assessments, and depreciation • Reporting to clients and investors • Participation in due diligence processes in real estate transactions • Ongoing contact with auditors, banks, and other partners Desired background We are looking for someone with solid experience in accounting and who is confident in independently managing the entire accounting workflow. You have very good experience with financial statements, declarations, and reporting, as well as a good understanding of relevant regulations, preferably K3. You have likely worked in a role where you managed multiple companies in parallel, for example at an accounting firm or within the real estate industry. Experience from real estate-related activities is a plus. You are accustomed to working at a high pace with tight deadlines and thrive in an environment where planning can change. The role requires that you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. As a person, you are self-driven, thorough, and unpretentious. You have a solution-oriented approach, take responsibility for your delivery, and actively contribute to the team's shared work.
