What does the role entail? As Chief Accountant you will have a key role with responsibility for the company's accounting from A to Z. You drive both strategic and operational aspects of the accounting work and are responsible for ensuring that reporting maintains high quality, complies with regulations and is delivered on time. The role involves close cooperation with auditors, CFO and other internal stakeholders – where you are the one who provides reliability, structure and expertise in accounting matters. With work tasks that for example include: Perform accounting activities and monthly financial statements Prepare annual reports and regulatory reporting Responsible for tax matters and tax returns Manage investments, fixed assets and provisions Drive contact with auditors and prepare for audits Participate in improvement and change work within the finance function Provide support to other departments on accounting matters Work actively with cash flow, budget and follow-up.
