Since then, the journey has been fast-paced, and acquisitions in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway have grown the Nordic operations to around 100 employees, with offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Karlstad, among others. The head office is located in Dresden, and in addition to the Nordic region and Germany, the company operates in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and has offshore teams in Morocco and Albania. Communardo is therefore on an exciting growth journey, and the expansion in the Nordic region means that a finance function is being built up. We are therefore looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to take ownership of Swedish accounting, based in Karlstad. About the Role You will be responsible for accounting in Sweden (in the longer term, likely for other Nordic countries as well) and will work closely with the incoming Finance Manager Nordics and colleagues in the Nordic organization. Your responsibilities will include: Ongoing accounting and financial statements Liquidity monitoring and banking matters VAT and employer declarations Intercompany invoicing and accounting Reporting to the group Coordinating the payroll process Developing procedures, processes, and ways of working You will be entering an exciting phase where much is already working well, while there are also great opportunities to influence how the finance function will develop moving forward. Who Are You? We believe you are independent in accounting and financial statements and have no problem taking responsibility for the entire accounting flow. You have experience from a group environment, or a good understanding of group accounting and intercompany invoicing. As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with others and have the ability to make complex financial matters understandable.
