Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take on comprehensive responsibility? On behalf of our client, we are now seeking an accounting manager for a company in Gothenburg. We are looking for someone who is confident in the entire accounting process and thrives in a role where you can combine operational work with responsibility for developing and ensuring quality in the finance function. About the Role As an accounting manager, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient accounting and providing financial support to the business. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Examples of responsibilities: Responsible for ongoing accounting and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle VAT and tax filings. Participate in the preparation of annual reports and audits. Participate in budget, forecast, and analysis work. Contribute to the development and optimization of accounting processes. About You We believe you are a careful and analytical person who enjoys taking responsibility and working independently. You have a structured approach to work and strong ability to collaborate across different parts of the organization. We would like to see that you have: Academic degree in accounting or equivalent. Several years of experience with qualified accounting work. Experience independently managing the financial statement closing process. Knowledge of K3 and Swedish accounting practices. Strong system skills and very good knowledge of Excel. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Interested? Submit your application today!
