Your Role We are looking for you who want to take the step into the role of Accounting Manager. The position includes responsibility for: Accounting and financial closing processes Annual reports System administration VAT and tax management Fund management Coordination of statistical reporting You will be an important part of the Finance Department, where you, together with your five colleagues and the Finance Director, are part of the municipality's management support. Here, finance, HR, communications, administration, and digitalization work together to create the best possible conditions for the municipality's development. As Accounting Manager, you play a central role in further developing our processes and working methods in close collaboration with your manager and other colleagues. Who Are You? You are a person who is both structured and flexible, dares to make decisions, and enjoys working both operatively and forward-thinking. You see opportunities, have the ability to think from a holistic perspective, and understand the value of good collaboration. You also have clear pedagogical and communication skills, as you collaborate closely with managers and colleagues across different parts of the organization. We are looking for you who contributes with both expertise and work enthusiasm – and who thrives in a team where we support and develop each other. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: Academic education in economics, or other education/experience deemed equivalent 3-5 years of experience in accounting Knowledge of municipal accounting and legislation Experience with consolidated accounting Good system proficiency, preferably in Raindance or similar accounting systems Interest and knowledge to work with financial analysis and internal control Meritorious Experience working in municipal operations Advanced system proficiency in Raindance We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
