Do you want to work in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world? IES Helsingborg is now recruiting a full-time Recreation Instructor. Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) in Helsingborg is a grades 4-9 primary school. The school is centrally located in southern Helsingborg. IES Helsingborg has approximately 500 students and we opened the school in 2017. The school is newly renovated with fantastic character. We are a bilingual school where English and Swedish are used in daily instruction. We focus on a safe school environment, language development, and giving our students the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are now seeking an Activity Leader/Recreation Instructor on a full-time basis, starting in August. As an Activity Leader with us, you will plan and carry out recess and afternoon activities together with your closest colleagues. You will also provide support and stimulation to students during the school day based on each student's specific needs and promote development and independence during student breaks. At the end of the school day, we offer 'Junior Club' for students in grades 4-6. Junior Club is open until 16:30, where you will lead planned activities with the children such as sports, crafts, excursions, and so on. We offer Move with IES, a health initiative to increase student activity levels and offer opportunities to try new activities, play, and sports. Qualifications You enjoy planning and organizing based on operational goals and your mission. You collaborate well, have good organizational skills, and look forward to being a significant part of the development work. You see opportunities in change and adapt your working approach based on student needs. You are positive and flexible. You have documented work experience as a Recreation Instructor or equivalent youth-related professions. We believe the right person for this position is someone with experience working where children, relationship-building, and activity planning are in focus.
