Hotell Fjällgården is a mountain hotel in a classic setting with a history dating back to 1910. Fjällgården has a unique location on the slopes at 556 meters above sea level. The views stretch over Åreby and Årefjäll, and the historic Bergbanan cable car operates the short distance between Åre torg and Fjällgården. In just a few minutes you're down in the hustle and bustle of Åre torg. Just outside the hotel entrance begin Åre's hiking and cycling trails—the hotel is located right in the slopes, right in the village. We are now looking for you who are ready to deliver world-class service as a receptionist to our wonderful guests. You should be ambitious, flexible, and take responsibility for this position. Previous experience as a hotel receptionist and higher-level responsibility is a requirement. As reception manager at Hotell Fjällgården, your work tasks include guest bookings, check-ins and check-outs, cash handling, and quality assurance of our service. You are also a team leader for the reception desk and ensure that operations run smoothly in everything from routines to finances and personnel matters. The start date for the position is negotiable, but you need to begin no later than mid-October, and the season runs until the end of April/beginning of May. The work includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work. English and Swedish in writing and speech are a must; previous work experience at the hotel is a requirement.
