As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of private individuals, businesses, and government agencies. We provide essential services for emergency animal care, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always with our feet on the ground and our heart in the right place. Distriktsveterinärerna is part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture. In Stenungsund, we have a mixed practice with many different animal species. The distribution is approximately 40% small animals, 50% equine, and 10% production animals. For small animals, we do everything from vaccinations, preventive care, and diagnostics to surgeries in a well-equipped operating room and dental treatments under general anesthesia. For production animals, we work with castrations, dehorning, sampling, etc. For equine, it can include dental treatments, lameness investigations, castrations, vaccinations, and inspections. At our equine clinic, we have access to endoscopes/gastroscopes, X-ray, ultrasound, and objective movement analysis systems. There are blood analysis machines in a small lab. At the clinic, we currently have 13 veterinarians, one licensed veterinary technician, and eight animal care assistants. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a service-oriented receptionist for our clinic in Stenungsund to strengthen our team by providing our customers with the best possible experience. You will largely work at our reception and manage our shop. This includes, among other things: • Welcoming our customers and patients and handling payments. • Managing appointment bookings and answering questions via phone. • Ensuring the clinic remains clean and fresh through daily cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and restocking of materials. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and has the ability to spread positive energy while making a professional impression. It is important that you enjoy meeting people, are self-motivated, and work in a structured and thorough manner. You thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and you are not afraid to take initiative where needed. We expect that you: • Have good judgment, are flexible, structured, and take your own initiative • Have good collaboration skills while being self-motivated • Are experienced in customer service and have phone experience For this position, the following are required: • Upper secondary education • Category B driver's license • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Good oral skills in English Meritorious: • Experience from service professions • Previous reception work • Previous experience in animal health care • Good experience in facility cleaning and hygiene work within healthcare or similar fields Salary range for this position is 24500kr - 28500kr Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date 2026-10-01 According to agreement or October 1, End date 2028-05-31. Working hours: Daytime. We care about our employees.
