As a receptionist, you are the face of the social services department and play an important role in meeting both the municipality's residents and our employees. The Social Office is located in newly renovated premises close to Falköping train station. The position is placed within the unit for elderly care and disability assessment, which consists of a unit manager, social workers, transportation service handlers, and administrative staff.
What can we offer you?
In your role as receptionist, you will, among other things:
- Receive and guide visitors
- Handle mail and reception
- Collaborate and cooperate with the social services department's employees
- Handle certain orders and bookings
- Perform administrative tasks
- Manage the department's service vehicles
We are looking for someone who
- Has at least upper secondary education
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Has good computer skills
- Holds a class B driver's license
It is a merit if you have experience with administrative work in a government agency or public sector, or equivalent experience that the employer considers relevant, and/or post-secondary education in administration or a related field.
As a receptionist, you are often the first point of contact with social services, and therefore we place great emphasis on service and customer care. You are service-minded, enjoy meeting people, and have a professional and respectful approach in all situations. You work in a structured manner, are responsible, and contribute to a safe and positive experience for our visitors.
