About the Job Would you like to work a winter season in the heart of the mountains and become part of our team at Hemavans Fjällcenter? If so, we might be looking for you! As a receptionist with us, you are often the first person our guests meet and an important contact throughout their stay. You welcome our guests, help them with questions and bookings, and ensure they receive the information and service they need. The reception is also a central part of daily operations at Hemavans Fjällcenter. You stay updated on what's happening in the business, ensure that important information reaches the right departments, and help resolve situations that arise during the day. An important part of the role is taking care of the groups and conferences that visit us. The reception serves as the host and contact point during their stay and ensures the group receives the information and assistance they need. This may involve welcoming the group, providing information about accommodations, meals and facilities, and being available for questions and helping resolve any issues that arise during their visit. Service and sales go hand in hand with us. As a receptionist, you are curious about the guest's needs and actively work with sales and upselling. This could mean helping the guest find the right accommodation, suggesting our offers, or identifying opportunities to create an even better visit. About You We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is passionate about creating great guest experiences. You are service-oriented, organized, and communicative. You thrive in a role where you need to keep track of multiple things at once and can prioritize as conditions change throughout the day. You are solution-oriented and take initiative. When something doesn't go as planned, you try to find a solution and ensure that the right information reaches both the guest and your colleagues. We also appreciate if you enjoy sales and have the ability to see opportunities based on the guest's needs. For us, good sales is about good service – being curious, listening, and being able to offer the guest the right solution. Your responsibilities include: Welcoming, checking in, and checking out our guests Helping guests with questions and information during their stay Handling bookings, changes, and questions regarding accommodations Answering phone calls and emails Providing information and tips about Hemavan and the surrounding area Serving as host and contact person for groups and conferences Preparing for arriving groups and conferences Actively working with sales and upselling based on guest needs Staying updated on today's arrivals, departures, and what's happening in the business Providing housekeeping and other departments with the information they need for the day Communicating important information between different departments of the business Handling and helping resolve problems and situations that arise during the day We are looking for someone who: Has a positive and service-oriented attitude Enjoys working with people Is organized and can keep track of multiple things at once Is solution-oriented and takes initiative Has strong communication skills Can handle different situations calmly and professionally Enjoys collaborating and conveying information between different parts of the business Enjoys sales and finding solutions based on guest needs We would appreciate if you have previous experience from reception, hotel, or other service positions. Experience with booking systems is a merit. About the Position Scope: approximately 85% Employment Type: Seasonal Employment Period: Winter Season 2026/2027 Work Hours: Varying shifts.
