About the Operation The Pharmacy Unit currently employs 23 people. Most of those who work here are pharmacists, but we also have other professional categories employed in the unit. Our mission is to promote safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication use and medication supply, as well as to provide operational and strategic support to healthcare operations. Our mission covers the entire region, which means we work from a regional perspective and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Committee. We have staff stationed at three locations in the region: Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. We also staff Sollefteå Hospital one day per week. The Pharmacy Unit's assignments fall within three main processes: medication supply, medication use, and care-related medication support. Within these processes, we work with medication supply, medication management, medication issues, and medication budgets. You will be introduced by experienced colleagues and mentored by a mentor. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of developing our operations! We are now seeking a pharmacy technician for the Pharmacy Unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with start date by agreement. You will work at Sollefteå Hospital on average two days per month. Job Duties In your role as a pharmacy technician, you will be part of the team working with operational and strategic medication issues related to the region's medication supply. The work involves close collaboration and continuous contact with healthcare staff. Quality audits of healthcare medication management involve visits to various healthcare units, including health centers and dental clinics throughout the region. This involves business travel approximately once per week. You will work with ordering and unpacking medications at hospital care units, which includes structured medication inventory and assortment work as well as handling of medication surpluses and shortages.
