Welcome to Hospital Pharmacy VGR Western Sweden Hospital Pharmacy VGR Western Sweden is part of the region-wide Hospital Pharmacy VGR and the unit within Western Hospitals responsible for the administration's overall pharmaceutical operations. The unit's mission includes responsibility for pharmaceutical supply, support in pharmaceutical management matters, follow-up, and quality and patient safety work, all in close collaboration with the healthcare operations. The unit's mission also includes supporting care teams on the wards and handling parts of the daily pharmaceutical work there. Hospital Pharmacy VGR Western Sweden is organizationally part of Diagnostics and Service operations together with units for radiology and medical technology. The hospital pharmacy within Western Hospitals serves all four hospitals within the administration but has operational staff at Kungälv Hospital, Alingsås Hospital, and Högsbo Community Hospital. Employees include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and nurses. We are now looking for a pharmacy technician as a replacement during parental leave to be able to carry out our mission according to healthcare needs. The position is based at both Kungälv Hospital and Högsbo Community Hospital. There may also be opportunities to work at other hospitals within the administration. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacy technician. As a person, you are open and service-oriented and find it easy to create new contacts and good relationships. You are accustomed to and enjoy working independently, while at the same time having a good ability to collaborate. You are responsible, thorough, and good at organizing and structuring your own work. Since we are a healthcare operation in constant development, it is important that you appreciate that tasks and work methods vary and change over time. Experience working in healthcare and hospital pharmacy operations is a merit. The work requires good IT skills. What we offer you With us, you perform important work where you support the care units in various ways, primarily related to pharmaceutical supply. Examples of work tasks include ordering and unpacking pharmaceuticals and packing medication supply trolleys. Other pharmaceutical-related work tasks may also occur. In our unit, we have chosen the core values commitment – trust – community as our guiding star in our work. Work at all hospitals within the administration may become relevant even though the primary placement initially is at Kungälv Hospital and Högsbo Community Hospital. Currently, we only work daytime, weekdays. Weekend and evening shifts may become relevant in the future. Qualifications Licensed pharmacy technician.
