R&D Technicians/Engineers

About Us: Ytsab Defence AB is a cutting-edge Swedish defence technology company specializing in electromagnetic weapon systems. We are involved in multiple EU-funded research projects, including projects under the European Defence Fund (EDF). We are now expanding our team with 2–3 skilled individuals to support our growing R&D and lab operations. What We're Looking For: We are seeking hands-on, curious, and driven team members with the following qualifications: - Education and/or experience in electronics (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics) - Ability to write clear technical reports and documentation for EU-funded projects (in English) - Flexibility and creativity to work with experimental setups and problem-solving in the lab - Practical skills – confident with tools, measurements, soldering, setups, and testing - Bonus: Experience with EU projects, military technologies, or prototyping environments Your Role Will Include: - Supporting R&D activities in our lab (testing, setup, diagnostics) - Documenting tests, writing internal and EU project reports - Assisting with experimental trials, assembling components, and troubleshooting - Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and international partners We Offer: - A dynamic and future-oriented workplace - Work on cutting-edge defence technology with EU and national stakeholders - Room for creativity, innovation, and impact - Competitive salary based on experience How to Apply: Send your CV and a short cover letter to [email protected] with the subject line
