About Us Forensic Psychiatry is a unique operation within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Our mission is to provide individually tailored psychiatric care and rehabilitation to patients sentenced to care, as well as care for patients deprived of liberty under other legislation when they require acute psychiatric specialist care. The operation has inpatient facilities with high security classification. Your Responsibilities As a security operator, you are part of the security unit and work at the heart of our operations. You ensure that care is provided in a safe environment for both patients and staff. The work is varied and includes, among other things: - Monitoring and operation of technical security systems such as camera surveillance, access control, and alarms - Receiving visitors at reception and conducting security checks - Handling incoming calls, alarms, and incidents in the facility's security control center - Collaboration with other units and authorities when needed - Responsibility for conducting security training for, among others, facility personnel Work is conducted around the clock, year-round – which means three shifts. About You A Class B driver's license is a requirement. Physical ability and normal color vision are requirements for the position. Meritorious qualifications are education and/or experience in security work. The following experiences are meritorious: Experience with security checks in environments with high demands on accuracy and attention, including handling of metal detectors and review of X-ray images. Experience in an alarm center, reception, or other service-oriented operation where you handled multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience from high-paced environments, such as hotel or airport operations, is valued. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and can communicate in English. We seek someone who thrives in an eventful environment and has the ability to maintain focus and composure even in pressured situations. You have good computer skills and a natural ability to learn technical systems. As a person, you are observant and have the ability to make well-founded decisions. You collaborate well with others and contribute to a good workplace culture. To fit the role, you also need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and overall results.
