Do you want to work as an advisor with Lely's innovative solutions for dairy and beef production?
Lely Center Västervik is seeking an advisor, Farm Management Support, for our southern region. Our customer base is growing and we are now looking for an advisor who is passionate about dairy cows and technology. You will be part of a driven team that educates and supports our customers for optimal production - we welcome your application!
Milk production is increasingly becoming automated and more dependent on specialists to interpret, develop, and optimize operations. Lely is an innovative company that puts the cow at the center. Our various automated solutions for milking and feeding use sensors, indicators, and algorithms that provide valuable information to the farmer.
In the role of Farm Management Support (FMS), you will provide training and consulting to Lely Center Västervik's customers. You will both visit farms in your area and provide remote support through connections to customers' computers. Through close collaboration in the team, which consists of FMS advisors and service technicians, we work for the benefit of the cows and our customers. You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of free cow movement, the management program Horizon, and the technology surrounding the robots. Further training takes place both in Sweden and abroad together with our FMS colleagues throughout the Nordic region. For the right person, this could be the most fun job in the world!
You will be part of an FMS team where each member is responsible for their geographic area. In addition to advising and providing computer support to customers, you will plan and conduct training sessions both internally and for customers, as well as actively participate in trade shows and other customer activities.
To fit in with us, we see that you, in addition to a strong interest in cows, have a curious problem-solving attitude and good social skills with the ability to build strong relationships. As a person, you should enjoy working with both animals and people. You work well in collaboration and in teams, as well as independently. Thoroughness, initiative, good organizational skills, and flexibility are qualities we believe you possess. The work is independent and requires that you can plan your own time in a good and structured manner. The position involves travel and planned overnight stays. You will be based from home, likely living on Öland or in the Kalmar region.
Geographic work area is southern Östergötland, Småland, Blekinge, and Öland.
