To meet increased demand, we are now seeking a Quality Controller / QC Supervisor who wants to help ensure quality assurance of our customers' projects and contribute to our continued development. About the Role As a Quality Controller / QC Supervisor, you ensure through inspection, monitoring, and documentation review that manufacturing, assembly, welding, testing, and final documentation within assigned projects meet applicable requirements in drawings, inspection plans, WPS, standards, customer requirements, project instructions, and WP's quality management system. You play an important role in ensuring traceability, control points, deviation management, and correct quality including quality documentation throughout the project. Responsibilities and Main Tasks · Ensure quality documentation is prepared, reviewed, kept current, and finalized with full traceability according to customer requirements, project requirements, and internal procedures. · Handle and ensure quality of drawings, isometrics, revision documents, work packages, and other project-related documents so that the correct version is used in production. · Follow up on inspection plans, ITP, and ensure that control points are reviewed, signed, and documented. · Conduct ongoing quality rounds, spot checks, and inspections in production to verify that work is performed according to applicable drawings, WPS, inspection plans, instructions, and customer requirements. · Verify material certificates, marking, heat number/charge number, and traceability against drawing, isometric, work package, and project requirements. · Ensure quality of documentation related to PSS, material certificates, weld lists, weld maps, NDT, PWHT, hydrostatic test reports, and other relevant quality documentation. · Follow up on visual inspection, NDT, any repairs and re-inspections, and hydrostatic testing. Ensure that results, reports, and deviations are documented correctly. · Identify, register, and follow up on quality deviations, NCRs, and corrective actions, and escalate recurring or critical deficiencies according to company and project procedures. · Participate in quality-related walkdowns, punch list management, mechanical completion, and handover, and ensure that open remarks are documented and addressed before delivery. Qualifications · At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as quality, welding, pipe assembly, manufacturing, assembly, project production, or industrial documentation. · Good ability to read and interpret drawings, isometrics, WPS, work instructions, and technical documentation. · Good understanding of material certificates, traceability, weld documentation, WPS/WPQR, welder qualifications, and inspection plans. · Experience working according to isometrics and requirements according to PED and preferably ISO 3834, EN 1090, EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 15614, EN 10204, or equivalent international regulations. · Good knowledge of NDT, PWHT, visual inspection, hydrostatic testing, NCR, and final documentation. · Very good computer skills and experience working in digital documentation, reporting, and monitoring systems. · Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, in project-related matters, including meetings, reporting, customer dialogue, and documentation. · Valid driver's license (Category B). Meritorious · Experience from piping, prefabrication, or assembly projects within process industry, energy, refineries, chemicals, petrochemicals, or similar industrial environments. · Experience with quality monitoring throughout the entire project flow, from material inspection, welding and assembly inspections, to testing, walkdowns, punch list management, mechanical completion, final documentation, and customer handover. · Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for welding, pressure-bearing systems, material traceability, and industrial assembly. · Training or certification in, for example, visual weld inspection, weld coordination, inspection planning, deviation management, or internal auditing. · Experience with digital systems for reporting risk observations, incidents, deviations, or quality monitoring. · Swedish is a merit but not required, as the project's working language is English. · Spanish, both spoken and written.
