The Chemistry Laboratory is responsible for controlling finished products and packaging materials and participates in numerous development projects. The laboratory currently employs approximately 60 people. The dominant analytical techniques in the laboratory are chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and microscopy. In addition to Specialists, the section also includes Coordinators and laboratory engineers. Responsibilities This is a fixed-term employment on probation that converts to a permanent position after 6 months upon agreement between the parties. Start date: immediately. As a QC Specialist, you independently manage a larger work area where you plan your work, conduct incident investigations, and represent the department in projects, improvement initiatives, and deviation investigations. The role involves method and/or instrument responsibility for more advanced analytical techniques including qualification and validation activities. You compile and report results, conduct experimental plans and analyses, and write and review documentation with high precision. The role also includes mentoring colleagues and, if needed, taking design responsibility. You will also work with: · Independently plan your work within given parameters · Initiate and investigate incidents and events · Serve as the department's representative in project groups or deviation investigations · Have method responsibility for advanced techniques and room responsibility · Actively participate in improvement initiatives within the department · Compile, check, and report results · Perform routine work and implement experimental plans according to department needs · Independently write and review reports, experimental plans, and other documentation for the section · Serve as a mentor for other employees within and outside the section · Function as a specialist in a larger area · Independently perform development work and troubleshooting · Follow scientific/regulatory developments We are looking for someone with: · At least three years of higher education with a natural science/technical focus · At least 5 years of experience working in GMP-regulated operations · At least 5 years of experience in QC · Advanced Swedish in speech and writing (level C1) · Full proficiency in English in speech and writing (level C2) · Good PC skills About You We are looking for someone who is thorough, communicative, and thrives in a role where problem-solving is a natural part of everyday work.
