QA Tester for iFACTS in Malmö

About the Role As a QA tester at iFACTS, you'll be part of a small QA team where you work closely with developers and colleagues. The role is broad and combines practical testing with technical problem-solving, analysis, automation, and customer interaction. You will, among other things: Plan, design, and execute tests—from manual test cases and regression testing to exploratory and automated testing Build and maintain test automation and contribute to making automated tests a natural part of the CI/CD pipeline Coach and support developers in the team so they take greater responsibility for testing their own code In customer projects, act as a test lead, drive the testing effort, maintain ongoing customer contact, guide through testing and acceptance work, and ensure quality in final delivery Identify, report, and follow up on bugs and deviations in a structured manner Contribute to improving testing processes, test coverage, and quality procedures over time You'll work in a technical environment that includes: • Testing & Quality: Playwright, pipeline/script validation • CI/CD & Automation: GitHub Actions • Database: Microsoft SQL Server • Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Ubuntu Server Your Profile To succeed in this role, we see that you have: A university or college degree in IT, systems science, engineering, or another relevant field The ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing A structured work approach and understanding of working according to quality and security guidelines The ability to understand how applications and systems are built and how they interact An interest in testing, quality, and technical problem-solving Experience with QA/testing in the technical environments mentioned above is a plus, but we also welcome those early in their careers who have a genuine technical interest and have built their competence in other ways.
