The Swedish Red Cross is the world's largest humanitarian movement and operates in 191 countries. When disaster strikes, we are already on the ground to help vulnerable people, not least thanks to 16 million volunteers. Swedish Red Cross conducts operations within crisis and disaster relief, protection issues, and health and care. We have the trust to convert contributions from individuals, companies and authorities into concrete action for the most vulnerable. We fight to save lives and give hope, everywhere and every day. About Us Swedish Red Cross Treatment Center is a unique resource in the healthcare context, entirely focused on treatment for migrants who have suffered severe mental health issues related to war, flight, persecution or torture. Swedish Red Cross operates treatment centers for war-injured and torture survivors at six locations in Sweden: Skövde, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Malmö and Skellefteå. The goal of Swedish Red Cross's treatment centers is to provide support and care to people who have been exposed to war trauma and torture so that they can regain their psychological and physical health.
