About the Operation
We are now welcoming a Licensed Psychologist/Social Worker with basic psychotherapy training to our Family Therapy Unit!
We are a regional specialist unit within BUP Dalarna that provides treatment. Our target group is children aged 0-5:11 years with infant and early childhood psychiatric symptoms and/or developmental difficulties in interaction with primary caregivers or other serious risk factors for developing symptoms. The goal of treatment is to reduce suffering and improve functioning in the child through symptom reduction and more developmentally supportive interaction with their primary caregivers.
Duties
Your responsibilities include conducting child psychiatric assessments, qualified interaction work, and collaboration with healthcare partners and other important actors such as preschools and social services.
Treatment interventions are planned based on a comprehensive assessment of symptom presentation, interaction patterns between child and caregiver, the caregiver's beliefs, mental health of caregivers, and other psychosocial factors of significance.
You collaborate and plan interventions with colleagues to provide our patients with the best possible care. The work is challenging, stimulating, and varied, offering opportunities to work playfully and creatively with BUP's youngest children and their families.
Work environment is highly valued by us, and we prioritize good camaraderie with humor and an open atmosphere. You are interested in participating in the unit's development work.
